Hospital planning, monitoring & evaluation /HMIS coordination office

GCMS & Specialized Hospital planning, monitoring & evaluation coordination office was established after the integration of GCMS& specialized Hospital by the year of 2010 E.C before the integration the office was under the hospital information and statics coordinator.

The coordinating office has 9 Mph, 3 BSc, and Two diploma holder staff.

Services Given in The Coordinating Unit

  1. Planning-Both Strategic and annual plans (comprehensive plan, core plan, joint plan, program flagship initiative plan) of the GCMS & specialized -hospital.
  2. Input gathering and design Planning.
  3. Conduct situational analysis (SWOT and PEST analysis) the GCMS and specialized-hospitals.
  4. Defining themes, strategic results, goals/objectives, indicators, strategic initiatives.
  5. Analyze resource gap by source and program, and costing the plan
  6. Presenting for approval and finalization of plans.
  7. Develop detail action plan GCMS and specialized hospitals performance evaluation.
  8. Conduct training on planning, monitoring and evaluation scheme.
  9. Conduct Monitoring and integrative supportive supervision on HMIS
  10. Preparing plan vs performance reports and providing findings and recommendation reports to the concerning bodies.
  11. Data collection, analysis, preparing technical reports for GCMS and specialized hospital activities.
  12. Facilitate review meeting for GCM and specialized hospital quarterly
  13. Facilitate integration of colleges and hospital.
  14. Developing fund rising project proposals based on thematic areas/priorities, resource gaps.
  15. Preparing TOR and grant letter
  16. Conduct training to staffs
  17. Consulting on planning, monitoring and evaluation of the GCMS and specialized hospital.
  18. Prepare report and submit timely for responsible body.
  19. Give feedback for the coordinators, departments based on the reports
