Quality unit established in Gondar University Comprehensive Specialized Hospital At 2008 E.C
The health care system is designed to prevent, diagnose and treat disease and as a result improve the physical social and mental well being of all peoples. The degree to which health services for individual and populations increase the likelihood of preventing and treating disease measures the quality of the services provided. Quality health care delivers these services to individuals and populations in ways that are safe, timely, client- centered, efficient, effective and collaborative.
The coordinating units constructed from 1 General practitioners (GP), 4 MSc,5 MPH and 2 BSc staffs
Services Given
We are doing so many things especially FMOH initiative that implement in the hospital
- Ethiopian Hospital Services Transformation Guideline (EHSTG)
- Health Sector Transformation in Quality ( HSTQ )
- Good governance ( clinical governance )
- Clinical audit
- Patient satisfaction
- Staff satisfaction
- Improvement compassionate, Access, Redesign and stakeholder engagement ( I – CARE )
- System bottleneck focused care (SBFR)
- Motivate, competent and compassionate health workforce
- Develop Quality improvement project
- Incidence analysis
- Performance evaluation base on KPI for quality improvement
- Ethiopian Hospital Alliance for Quality on evidence based care collaborative learning with cluster hospital and others
- Grievance analysis and then develop action plan
